About Dare to Lead

Based on the latest research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program. The most significant finding from her latest research is that courage is a collection of four teachable, measurable and observable skill sets:

Rumbling with

Vulnerability

Facing risk, uncertainty, and emotional exposure with courage, clarity and grounded confidence.

Living Into Our

Values

Identifying, operationalizing, and practicing the beliefs that we hold most important.

BRAVING

Trust

Strengthening connections in relationships and teams based on the seven elements of trust.

Learning

to Rise

Growing from the setbacks and disappointments that are inevitable when we are brave with our lives.

Who is a leader?

Brené Brown defines a leader as “anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential.”

Leadership is not about a title or authority. It is the willingness to ask the right questions, stay curious and connect with people without knowing the outcome. Brave leaders are self-aware enough to lead from their hearts and not from fear.

For Individuals

For Organizations

Build courageous cultures in your organization with an in-house Dare to Lead program. Participants will learn skills to lean into difficult conversations, foster creativity and drive accountability. The full 24-hour program can be delivered in person or virtually. Or dig into a specific topic in training sessions ranging from 2-hours to full day options.

What people are saying
