Dare to Lead™
The ultimate playbook for anyone who wants to step up and into courageous leadership.
Based on the latest research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program. The most significant finding from her latest research is that courage is a collection of four teachable, measurable and observable skill sets:
-
Rumbling with Vulnerability
Facing risk, uncertainty, and emotional exposure with courage, clarity and grounded confidence.
-
Living Into Our Values
Identifying, operationalizing, and practicing the beliefs that we hold most important.
-
BRAVING Trust
Strengthening connections in relationships and teams based on the seven elements of trust.
-
Learning to Rise
Growing from the setbacks and disappointments that are inevitable when we are brave with our lives.
Who is a leader?
Brené Brown defines a leader as “anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential.”
Leadership is not about a title or authority. It is the willingness to ask the right questions, stay curious and connect with people without knowing the outcome. Brave leaders are self-aware enough to lead from their hearts and not from fear.
